ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi, Iβm Eimear!
I am a painter, photographer and facilitator living in Belfast, originating from rural County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. I am a big believer in using creativity as an outlet for expressing emotions and a way of helping our mental wellbeing by focusing our attention on physically creating something.

My medium & inspiration
Using mostly acrylics with mixed media, I paint contemporary abstracted landscapes. My paintings are vibrant, atmospheric, intuitive expressions of my experiences. I am particularly influenced by the unpredictable, every-changing elements that we endure here and that ultimately make the island of Ireland the rugged, natural beauty that it is. I love to travel and experience different cultures, this has also had a great influence on my style and choice of colour palette.
My career and passion for creativity began from an early age. As a teenager I spent all of my free school periods in the art room. I knew that art was the only subject I had any interest in and the only subject I ever excelled in! This led me to study at the Ulster University Belfast, I graduated with a Foundation in Art and Design, a BA Hons in Photography and later went on to complete a Masters in Digital Media Communications.
Now in my 30βs I am happily embracing all of my passions, bringing vibrant atmospheric art and meaningful photography into peopleβs homes and businesses across Ireland, the UK, Australia and the USA.
Where it all began
My art is for people who feel connected to mother nature and all her different forms. My paintings are for those who want to bring into their homes, the feelings and memories they have from embracing a cold morning dip in the sea, a hike in nature on a brisk windy day or those warm Summer sunsets we so deeply appreciate.
